Despite a long-standing interest in real estate, architecture and design, James devoted the first phase of his professional life to the financial services industry, rising to the post of Managing Director for a major European investment bank in New York City.
James is responsible for defining the broad strategic and commercial direction of The New Project Group, including day-to-day management of the investment business, which owns and operates the shared workspace concept The New Work Project, meetings and events space The Annex, as well as a portfolio of individually designed furnished rental apartments.
James Davison holds a BA(Hons.) in Politics with French from Loughborough University in the UK.

Fanny is Co-Managing Partner of The New Project Group, and Creative Director of The New Design Project.
A graduate of New York City's renowned Parsons School of Design, Fanny left a successful career in finance to pursue her passion for design. She was born in France but grew up in Africa and the USA, and has since spent most of her adult life living in London, Paris, and New York. Her aesthetic is inspired by and reflects her experience of having lived in some of the world's most cosmopolitan places.
Fanny undertakes residential and commercial projects in New York City, as well as internationally. Her work has been featured extensively online and in the written design press around the world, and she is currently working on projects in New York City and London.
She holds a Bachelors degree from Audencia Nantes, School of Management in France.
